The City Administration for Sports and Youth performs tasks related to:
- preparation of development programs in the field of sports and youth and their implementation;
- construction, maintenance and use of sports facilities in which the needs in the field of sports are met in the territory of the City;
- participation of the City in the organization of the city and inter-municipal level of sports competitions;
- Providing special conditions for increasing the coverage and quality of work with young sports talents;
- organization and holding of sports competitions and events of importance to the City;
- Providing conditions for the work of sports experts in organizations in the field of sports in the territory of the City;
- Recording, monitoring and controlling the use of funds provided by the City to meet the needs of citizens in the field of sports, as well as to finance the activities of organizations in the field of sports founded by the City, and for the realization of programs or parts of programs of other organizations that contribute to the development of sports at the City level.
The City Administration performs tasks related to planning in the field of sports, providing funds to meet the needs in this area and supervising the use of these funds.
Within the City Administration for Sports and Youth, the Youth Office has been established, which has the position of a sector.
